My dear blog friend Pam at Antiques or Not has Boo'ed me. At first I thought this was bad, lol, but as it turns out it's very good... So I will make this easy for ya. If you are on my blog roll (and it's a long one), consider yourself BOO'ED.
If I've sent you here, go to as many friends as you want and tell them that they've been "BOO!-ed". They should link back to your blog, pick up the cool Halloween pic, and BOO! their friends. Then put the pic in your sidebar so that everyone knows you've already been "BOO-ed" and to share the pic with someone else. Isn't this fun?
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

Im Back!!!!
At least I hope so. I have been busy for the past few weekends. Always something to do. Then Josh my son had decided to give problems and get in trouble. Wont go into that though.
I have started my Christmas and Winter crafting. Im tryin hard not to change my music over to Christmas until after Halloween, but it's really hard. I see that some of my blog buddies have already.. I have started on The Primitive Pears pattern Awaya in a Manger. I thought at first it was gonna be hard, but once I got into it, it was really easy to do.
I have changed things around in the house as well. Today I changed the dining room around. I am not one who will things just as they are. I have to move them around. I will get some pics posted soon. That's another reason I havent been around much too. The batteries in my camera went dead and well, I just havent been anywhere to get any.
I work outside the home too. I work from 2-6 Monday - Friday, and well by the time I get home, get supper cooked, get the boys cleaned, homework done, clothes washed....... well I think you get the picture. This is the first time I have had time to just Stop and Sit and do some posting. I want everyone to know, that I have visited blogs, just not posting comments. I hope to be back now and get caught up on so many things that I have been missin.
I hope everyone has a great night. So until next time... Hugs to everyone.

Not only will there be learning involved, but also time away from the house. I have not had a vacation in a while so this will be good for me. Head on over and check it out. Just click on the banner.

My Very First Craftshow
First of all I want to say Thank you Angie!
Angie and I had a craftshow yesterday, and I have to say it was a wonderful day. I was up earrrly yesterday morning. Earlier than I wanted to be 4:30 am. I guess I was just excited. We had a chilly start, but around lunch time it started to warm up quite a bit. Other than fighting the wind and kids we had a really great day.
Here is Josh my son, Kailey Angie's daughter and the little girl is Angie's niece. Josh was having a plate of ribbon chips with ranch dressing. Josh and Kailey stayed for a little while and I think for the most part they had a good time. Lots of old cars to see and things to do. Oh, and there were lots of things Josh wanted to buy too. Money, money. But they had fun.
The show we did was the 17th annual Street Festival in Reidsville North Carolina and the people really came out for the festival. I dont know how many vendors they had this year, but you could find just about anything you wanted. The day was filled with music and smells of popcorn and food cookin all around. We were just down from a guy that cooked chicken all day. And boy did it smeeelllll goooood. It was a wonderful Fall day.
Here is a picture of our booth. I couldn't get the pictures right for the sun, but I think we had a great lookin booth. Everyone that came by talked about how heavenly it smelled. About how they could smell the cinnamon. We had alot of folks come through the booth, but not many were buying. But that's ok, we had a wonderful day of meetin new people and chatting with folks.
I think our little booth was just sooo cozy. We worked hard for this show and I think we did really good. I saw alot of old friends from high school, teachers and new friends. My friend Angie from the CYO forum came up from Gibsonville to see us and we just had a great time. It's funny when you meet people in forums and online then you meet them in person and they just how you thought they would be. Angie is great and she is a great crafter as well. I so enjoyed meeting and talkin with her.
I think next year Angie and myself may upgrade to a larger booth. We still had somethings in the boxes because we were limited on space. I know Angie will post this as well. I hope she got better pics than I did. So be sure to check out Angie at the Sugarplum Patch blog
So that was my day. It was wonderful and I had soooo much fun. Thank you again Angie.

Whatcha Workin' on Wednesday??
I have been bad as I stated in my last post. I have been busy preparing for my first craftshow, and I have been sewing up a storm. So for this week my whatcha workin on Wednesday is trying to get everything priced and boxed up for the show. I have come a long way, and I have a lot more items than I thought I did. Here are a few pics of what things look like around here. My diningroom is a mess.
I found that I can put things in baskets and that seems to help me alot. I was afraid that I would not have an idea of how to display items, but I have some baskets and wooden crate things that I can display things in. I know that you cant tell in the pics but the things are lookin pretty good.
I am also workin on gettin the house decorated for Fall and Halloween. I know that I am behind, but with things as crazy as they have been I just havent bothered. Not to mention that the diningroom is my craft room, so I think that says it all. I just havent been in the mood, just wanted to get my things for the show done. So I started yesterday with adding a few things for decorations.
I had bought that window quite a few years ago. It still had the glass in it and the girl that had it for sale had painted like fall trees and leaves on the glass. I didnt really like the paintings, I mean it was very child like painting. But it helped our church out, so I bought it. Anyway.. I busted the glass out yesterday. I didnt think I was ever gonna get all the little pieces out. There was years and years of paint on it, so once I got all the paint off the glass fell right out. I dont know if I like the way it looks. It might need to be a different color I'm not sure. But anyway, here is what I have done to the mantel so far.
