So Depressed!!

I took down the Christmas tree today. It seems so much fun to put it up, but so depressing to take it down. I would leave one up all year, but my family would think Im nuts.

I have done a little cleaning, got alot more to do. I want to get some pics taken and add them to my webshots sometime today. If not today then maybe tomorrow. Not a whole lot going on around here.

We are having spring like weather today. I actually have a window open, it's pretty warm inside the house. Can you believe that. It's January and we have the windows open. What is up with this weather?

Got a few crafts going, but other than that just the usual ole stuff.

My vacation will soon be coming to an end and it will be time for me to go back to work. Kinda depressed to see that come to an end as well. So I have to get the house back in order before that. It has been so nice being home. To bad I couldnt be here all the time.

Well, Happy Saturday to ya. Until next time.

I felt the same way when I took down my Cmas decor! Finished the last of it this morning, its so bare around here now!! I actually left my tree up so I can decorate for Vday and then Easter....maybe!

How far are you from Mooresville? Ive got friends down there.

yeah, I kind of feel that way too. I started taking down some of our decorations this morning. We have two trees- one with a victorian style the other primitive. Then some smaller trees for the kids rooms. Plus all the other decorations. I'm leaving the primitive things for last. I only get to see those things for a few weeks out of the year. I started a different blog for mostly primitive/decorating/craft things. It's here at
www.primroseparlor.blogspot.com I'll be adding to it as the weeks go on.

Yes, I always feel that way too, Tammy. As a matter of fact, Jason got the boxes down for me to take it down today...and we decided to wait until next weekend. I may be sorry because I'll have to dread the taking it down part, but I'm going to leave it one more week! Gosh, I just love Christmas decor!

I hope your first day back at work is a good one for you (and week).

Have a great day!

Jenn, Mooresville is near Troutman. My SIL and her family live there. I would have to say it's about a 2 hour drive, maybe? So not really that far.

Lisa, Im off to check out your blog.

Kim, it is bare without the decorations isnt it? Happy Cleaning to you my friend.

Tammy, I thought about keeping my tree up just one more week. But I thought I should go ahead and do it now. I could leave it up all year.
I hope my first week back will be good too. I have the kindergarten group this month. After they have been home for 2 weeks, we'll have to whip'em back into shape.

I love Christmas decor, too, but once Christmas is over, down it comes. I'm always ready to move on to whatever is next. I can't believe you have a window open. It's like 10 degrees here.

Hi Tammy!
I know whatcha mean...it's sorta gloomy after all the Christmas decor comes down! It's FUN putting it all up...but I always dread takin' it all down and putting it away! Isn't it strange how after ya have it up, then take it down...it's like something is missing! LOL...it's only been up about a month or so....but it seems like it was THERE FOREVER...and now it's all bare and the rooms are missing something....they didn't seem that way BEFORE Christmas :)

Have a wonderful day!
