Fabric Chain...

I thought this morning, I sure have alot of fabric scraps. So what to do with them? Well I had some ticking so I thought I would make a fabric chain. You know, like the paper chains we made in school at Christmas time.

I know that you all know how to make them. I used that no hem stuff on a roll. I dont know exactly what's called. But anyway that's what I used to connect them together.

Once I got them them all linked together I put them on the back of my dining room chairs. I thought about putting them on my tree, but I needed something for my chairs.

Not the best picture in the world, but here is what they look like.

I have a really small strand for my kitchen tree...like it's too small for the small tree..lol I should add to it. Anyway, I used hot glue to attach the links :) Another tip for ya!

I want to make new garland for our tree but I just don't think that's going to happen this year....

Have a great day!

Leslie, I had some strips that I cut to short, so I cut them in half and Im gonna make some for a very small twig tree that I have.

Waste Not, Want Not.... giggle.

Good idea though.
